Water Line Excavation and Trenching
Blue Line provides excavation and trench preparation for underground water line projects in Cranston and throughout Rhode Island. We review the route, access and existing surface before planning digging, material handling, backfill and restoration. Installation or connection of water piping must be coordinated with the appropriate licensed professional and local requirements; excavation services alone do not include licensed plumbing work.
Sewer Line Excavation and Replacement Trenching
New sewer lines and replacement projects may require access through a yard, driveway or other finished surface. We discuss the excavation area, material removal and restoration needs with you and the relevant trade professional. Sewer piping, connections and required inspections are separate from the excavation scope. Share the location of the problem and any project plans when requesting a visit.
Underground Electrical and Gas Trenching
We provide trenching for underground electrical and gas projects. The serving utility, project specifications and applicable requirements determine the trench route and construction details. Electrical wiring, gas piping, connections and testing are work for the appropriately licensed trades or utility provider. We do not describe trenching as authorization to perform those trades.
Plan the Excavation and Restoration Together
A utility project can involve more than digging the trench. We review equipment access, existing utility locations, excavated material and the surface that needs to be restored.
